I’ve paid for my subscription. How long does it take to get my website online?
We typically have a website completed and online within seven business days, though it varies based on the complexity of the site and the amount of time it takes the client to provide photos and business information. Rest assured, there’s never any guesswork with Website Runners. We stay in contact with you as we build your website to get your input on design and content. After learning about your specific needs, we’ll give you a timeline to make it easy.
I’ve paid the subscription fee. Why don’t I have my website online right now?
We start building your website as soon as you start your subscription. Once you submit the Business Sign-Up Form, we “put the meat on the bones” and add the photos and information you provided onto your site and optimize it for search engines. Then, we get the website online for the whole world to see. This behind-the-scenes work is what web designers charge $3,000 to $5,000 for, but we include the work in your monthly subscription fee. Our turnaround time is usually within seven business days.
Are website updates and edits included with my subscription?
Yes, your monthly subscription includes updates and edits to your website as needed. Call, text, or email us, and we will make the changes you requested ASAP!
How do I get changes made to my website?
Getting changes made to your website is as easy as click, call, or text! You can request website changes or edits through our Contact page, calling, or texting us at (806) 853-7027.
Can I get a partial credit or refund if I cancel my website subscription before my billing cycle ends?
No, we do not give partial credits or refunds. The monthly subscription fee covers many associated fees for the service and will not be refunded if terminated before the monthly billing cycle ends.
I have a very small business. What will a website do for me?
The smallest businesses will benefit from a website the most. A professional website boosts your credibility and functions like a listing in a phone book. Modern-day customers research a business online before shopping at the store or booking a service. You need your website to sell your products and services before your customer steps foot on your property. A website will allow you to show up on search engines and get more money-making leads as you rank higher for search terms related to your business. If you’re a new business or not well-known in your city, having a website will spread the word about you to locals and beyond.
Do I need a website if I have a Google Business Page?
Yes! A Google Business Page and a website complement each other by giving you more exposure online. Having both will give you more credibility and allow you to pop up in search engines under related search terms. You can link your website to your Google Business Page, so if someone finds you there, having a direct link to your site will allow them to learn more about you without doing the research themselves.
Do you provide retail websites where I can sell items from my brick-and-mortar store, home, or warehouse?
We currently do not offer retail websites with shopping capabilities. If you have an online storefront via Square, Shopify, Ecwid, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, or others, we can create a professional website that links seamlessly to your storefront. All purchases will go through the existing storefront platform. Even though you aren’t selling from the website, it will still be a unified shopping experience for the customer that makes your brand look cohesive.
Does your service require a long-term commitment?
Our website management service is a monthly subscription with no commitment. You can cancel at any time.
What happens to my website if I choose to cancel the service?
Your website will remain online until your current billing cycle ends, after which it will be deactivated and removed from the Internet. You can request to remove your site sooner, but you will not receive credits or refunds for partial months. All website design will remain the property of Website Runners and will not be transferred to another provider. We can transfer the domain name to you at your request for a fee of $75.
